Filipino-European Bistro Shaking Up Kentish Town

They called out signature bites like the steak tartare with cured yolk and nori crisps, the cod tempura slider with ikura tartar (a playful riff on the classic fish burger), and wood-fired wagyu picanha with peppercorn & liver sauce. Starters like diver scallops in malt vinegar and fermented-shrimp coconut sauce set the bar high before mains even arrived.

Desserts didn’t get short-changed either; think frozen custard profiterole with fish-sauce caramel and a coconut pie with Chantilly cream that evoke surprise and indulgence in equal measure. Add to that wine and cocktails alongside a relaxed bistro setting, and you’ve got the kind of review we love to see: “a bold new bistro serving up Filipino & European dishes by candlelight.”
