Our Ube Tiramisu is one of those creations; an Italian classic infused with the rich, nutty sweetness of purple yam, soaked in creamy ube tres leches, and layered with blueberry compote for a tangy, fruity lift. It’s tradition with a technicolour twist.
Why Ube Makes This Tiramisu Special
Ube: the vibrant purple yam loved across the Philippines. It brings a naturally sweet, earthy depth that works beautifully in desserts. In our tiramisu, it’s whipped into a silky mascarpone cream; creating layers of flavour and colour that make every slice as gorgeous as it is indulgent.
Soaked in Ube Tres Leches
Instead of coffee or liquor, our sponge is soaked in ube tres leches (three milks infused with ube): a rich, velvety sweetness that melts into every bite. This twist softens the dessert, allowing the ube’s distinct flavour to shine through.
A Tangy Pop of Blueberry Compote
To balance the creaminess, we add a layer of house-made blueberry compote; juicy berries cooked down to a syrupy, tangy-sweet perfection. The deep purple-blue of the fruit meets the pastel violet of the ube in a match that’s as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate.
